Good governance for prison health in the 21st century : a policy brief on the organization of prison health

Balstoties uz  pētījumu rezultātiem, ekspertu grupa izdarīga divus svarīgus secinājumus:

• Vadīt un koordinēt visas atbildīgās iestādes un to resursus, veicinot ieslodzīto veselību un labklājību ir katras valsts valdības uzdevums;

• Veselības ministrijas ir atbildīgas un tieši tām jānodrošina veselības aprūpes pakalpojumi un adekvāti sadzīves apstākļi cietumos;

Šāds pārvaldības modelis atbilst jaunai Eiropas veselības politikai „Veselība 2020”, tā ieviešana  radītu labākus apstākļus ieslodzītajiem, kas arī  ir daļa no valsts sabiedrības.
